The Kingdom Takes Over Downtown
Come celebrate with the Kingdom in historic Downtown Sanford for our final faire of 2026. Dungeons of Downtown brings together combat, live performances, shopping, food, interactive entertainment, and after-dark fantasy programming across the heart of downtown.
- Armored combat: Full armored MMA, combat demonstrations, and the Knights Games featuring Orlando Rogue Knights.
- Live entertainment: Live music, wandering performers, free activities, live crafters, and shows throughout the day.
- Sidequest Shopping: Explore talented makers and artists from across Central Florida and get rewarded for spending your hard-earned gold.
- The Flaming Barrel: Experience the interactive tavern show featuring The Flaming Barrel.
- Return to Karlov Manor: EK After Dark horror/fantasy nerdlesque featuring Geeky Mermaid Productions.
- More to discover: Axe throwing, tomato throwing, pickles, turkey legs, games, and additional surprises across Downtown Sanford.

Join the Kingdom: Performer Auditions Now Open
Enchanted Knights is recruiting additional family-friendly talent for Dungeons of Downtown and future EK events. Performer auditions are open for Wednesday, September 16 in Downtown Sanford. Choose a time that works for you and tell us about your act.
We’re especially interested in:
- Musicians and musical groups: Celtic, folk, medieval-inspired, acoustic, fiddle, flute, drums, bagpipes, bards, and roaming minstrels
- Character and roaming performers: nobles, peasants, pirates, fae, wizards, witches, rogues, heralds, and interactive fantasy characters
- Comedy and improv acts: family-friendly stage comedy, audience interaction, and comedic duos or groups
- Jugglers and variety performers: juggling, contact juggling, balancing, diabolo, yo-yo, and similar visual acts
- Magicians and illusionists: close-up magic, stage magic, and fantasy-themed illusion
- Storytellers, poets, and bardic performers
- Puppeteers and fantasy-creature performers
- Historical and living-history performers, demonstrations, and interpreters
- Interactive game masters for quests, riddles, contests, scavenger interactions, and audience games
- Children’s and family entertainers, whimsical characters, and interactive performers
- Unique specialty acts that fit a Renaissance or fantasy faire environment and can meet venue safety requirements
